I am starting to do some work with Management Reporter, so I thought it would be useful to have a list of the versions for various service pack levels. If anyone has other versions, please let me know and I will update this list.

CU 12 = 2.1.12000.26
CU 13 = 2.12.13001.13
Curiously CU11 had several hotfixes that were released even after CU12 !?!?

FYI – as of today, the latest version is CU11. That was released in late December and there is a hotfix dated 1/23/2015.
CU 11 – 1/8/2015 – 2.1.11001.1
CU11 Hotfix 2 – 1/23/2015 – 2.1.11002.5

Have you found any documentation on the new MR 2012 version? After Houston I thought you had to still install the previous versions of MR in able to migrate. Now, I see from someone elses post that MR 2012 has a Migration Wizard. This leads me to believe that I don’t have to install the prior versions and can just install 2012 & migrate from FRx.
Do you know if it’s true and do you know where I can find anything to document this? I’ve been searching PartnerSource and have not found anything yet.

Recently, Microsoft has updated SP2 to 2.0.1700.66. It resolved a problem for me with Balance Sheet rounding.

There is a new version of MR2012 that installs as 2.1.1028.0. This version also has a Migration Wizard. This wizard is much better than the previous wizard.

FYI, I once ran into an issue where the version of the data provider was not the same as the version of the other components. If you use Windows Explorer to go to the “Data Providers” directory (typically C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics ERP\Management Reporter\2.0\Providers\Dynamics GP 11.0) and set your view to “Tiles” you can easily see the versions, to be sure they are all the same. This also works in the other directories, i.e. “Client” and “Process Service.”
