Spring cleaning

It’s been a long time coming. I have changed this blog around a bit in an attempt to freshen up the look and organize things better.  Of course in the short term that means it may be difficult to find things, so if you’re looking for something that was here and cannot find it, please let me know. Nothing has been removed, but many things have been moved.

One cool new feature is that the topmost menu bar has drop down menus, so if you click on GP Tables, you’ll see a list of the available pages with table information:

The bottom navigation bar will list the most popular categories and subsections within them.  In the next few weeks I will be going through all the content and categorizing it better for easier searching and navigation.

There’s a new blog in town

Ron Wilson, who you may have seen posting on various Dynamics GP forums and newsgroups, has recently started a blog called Real Life Dynamics User. Ron has been busy posting tips and tricks, sharing his experiences with Dynamics GP and posting useful SQL scripts and views. Keep up the great work, Ron!

For the Office Space fans out there, please note that Ron’s database is named TSP, not TPS:-)

Microsoft Dynamics Salary Survey 2009

dollar chrome symbolNigel Frank International is conducting the 2009 annual survey of Microsoft Dynamics salaries worldwide. Salaries are frequently a topic of conversation for many of us, whether we are hiring or looking to be hired, so I encourage everyone to participate in this survey. Better hurry, though, the survey will be closing middle of next week.

As a thank you all participants will receive a PDF report of the results once they have been compiled. This will give you an insight into the salaries, opinions and demographics of your Microsoft Dynamics counterparts worldwide.

The Funniest T-Shirts

I just got an e-mail update for what I think are the funniest t-shirts.  In general Despair, Inc. is a wonderful source of entertainment for me.  Their calendars are fabulous and the ability to get them printed up with custom messages for each day is really cool.
